2 “Speak to all the community of the Israelites,[a] and say to them, ‘You[b] must be holy, because I, Yahweh your[c] God, am holy. 3 Each of you must revere your mother[d] and your father,[e] and you[f] must keep my Sabbaths; I am Yahweh your[g] God. 4 You[h] must not turn to idols, and you[i] must not make for yourselves gods of cast metal; I am Yahweh your[j] God.
